Brent Butrym joined Houck & Christensen in June of 2021. He has over 10 years of relevant experience, providing services in multiple areas, including tax preparation, bookkeeping services, private corporate accounting, litigation support, and business valuation. Prior to joining the firm, Brent was an accountant for an aviation startup based in Denver, CO. Before moving to Colorado, he worked for firms of small to medium size as a Senior Forensic Accountant and Tax Accountant in South Florida, his home state.

Brent has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida State University and completed additional accounting curriculum from Florida Atlantic University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Florida.

He is an active member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA).

Brent is a big aviation enthusiast and holds his Private Pilot’s License. He also enjoys traveling, reading, cheering on Florida State Football, and spending time with friends and family.
