Bryce Ernst is an Aviation Tax Specialist at Houck and Christensen CPA. He leverages his extensive background in aviation, intelligence, and financial crime investigation to provide comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients in the aviation industry. Bryce has over 15 years of leadership experience, spanning diverse roles including U.S. military officer, senior test pilot, aviation logistics manager, and FBI counterintelligence special agent. His service specialized in financial crimes, such as money laundering and complex fraud schemes, and providing critical security advice to high-profile organizations.

Bryce studied Aeronautics at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Global Security Studies & Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Accounting at Louisiana State University, focusing on enhancing strategic financial management in aviation taxation.

He is an experienced commercial pilot, logging thousands of hours across fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. Bryce’s unique expertise in aviation security and operations allows him to serve as an independent aviation security advisor.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Bryce is a devoted husband and father of twin girls, and an avid Boston Bruins fan. He is also restoring a classic John Alden-designed sailing yacht with hopes of sailing the Mediterranean.
