Gerry Kinnard is the Director of Operations who joined Houck & Christensen CPAs in 2026. His primary responsibility is ensuring the firm operates efficiently as it grows alongside the aviation industry. Gerry focuses on firm-wide workflow and capacity planning, building and refining operational systems, and serving as an operational partner to firm leadership to keep people, processes, and priorities aligned.

Gerry brings over 15 years of product and operations leadership to his role. Most recently, he spent six years as Senior Director of Product for VistaJet, VistaAmerica, XO, and JetSmarter. There, he helped build the company’s product organization and led automation initiatives that streamlined flight booking preparation and improved client response times as the fleet grew from 77 to over 300 aircraft. His extensive operational background also spans scaling a mail-order pharmacy and building operations across the security, financial services, and insurance sectors. Gerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Communications, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Concordia University-Wisconsin.

He is actively involved in his community, currently volunteering for Hire Heroes USA and previously serving as the President of the Florida Off Road Cycling Enthusiasts. In his free time, Gerry enjoys mountain biking, having competed in the Florida State Championship and completed multiple ultra-endurance off-road rides. His current passion is landscaping in Western North Carolina.
