Melissa Phelix is a business aviation professional managing client engagement, firm administration, and assists aircraft operators with initial tax documents upon their acquisition, for Houck & Christensen CPAs. She spent the better part of a decade guiding aircraft transactions as an Escrow Agent and has extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration aircraft registration guidelines and compliance.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma, and her Master of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She earned her Certificate in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well and has multiple certifications in Statistical Analysis Software. 

Melissa advocates for business aviation and advancing women in the industry by actively engaging with U.S. Senators and Representatives. She is an active member of the International Aviation Women’s Association, serving as Sub-Committee chair within the Association Development Committee. She is also an active member of the National Business Aviation Association’s Young Professionals, and Women in Corporate Aviation.
